At The Old Museum we believe music is to enjoyed by everyone. Regardless of your individual needs, we will try our absolute best to support you to have a wonderful time at this historic venue.

Wheelchair Access

Our Concert Hall floor seating is wheelchair accessible.

The studios have wheelchair access via a ramp at the Exhibition Hall front door.

COMPANION CARD RECOGNITION

The Old Museum Venue Management Team acknowledge the important support offered by carers. Any carer with a current companion card should call the Box Office on (07) 3741 7957 to purchase client tickets and obtain a free companion ticket.

ALL AGES EVENTS

U18s welcome at all ages events, no alcohol service. Under 14’s must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. NO PASSOUTS once patrons have entered venue.

 

General Information

GETTING HERE

The Old Museum is located 0.6 km north of the Fortitude Valley Railway station along Brunswick Street.

Bus stop 7 is located directly outside of The Old Museum. For details of public transport to the venue, click here.

PARKING

There is no onsite patron parking at The Old Museum for events. Sites are kept strictly for cast and crew.

Check with the RNA or King Street parking stations for rates and information.

There is also metered street parking in Gregory Terrace, King Street and surrounding side streets.

If you bring a car it is recommended that you come early to allow enough time to travel and find a park, as there is NO parking on site.
