JSE2, QYO3 & Access Arts

The QYO Concerts at Twilight series features QYO orchestras and ensembles and guest ensembles from Brisbane and regional Queensland, performing in the heritage-listed Concert Hall at The Old Museum.

This performance features:

Junior String Ensemble 2 is the starting point for young string players, keen to play with others, developing performance skills and making new friends. Conductor Cherie Deacon creates a lively and fun environment in which musicians can develop important ensemble playing skills.

Queensland Youth Orchestra 3 (QYO3) is a journey of discovery into the symphony orchestra – the combined harmonious power of Band and Strings combined (with no doubling of wind and brass parts). Educator and conductor David Deacon selects some of the most iconic symphonic repertoire for this orchestra and offers members the opportunity to develop solo performance skills.
