A Tribute to the music of Meat Loaf and Jim Steinman
Meat Loaf was known for his incredibly powerful voice and his theatrical live shows. The Bat Out of Hell trilogy—Bat Out of Hell, Bat Out of Hell II: Back into Hell, and Bat Out of Hell III: The Monster Is Loose - sold over 65 million albums worldwide alone.
Meat Loaf earned a Grammy Award for Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance for the song 'I'd Do Anything for Love', and he was particularly popular in Europe, especially the UK, where he received the 1994 Brit Award for best-selling album and single.
His other hits include songs such as, 'You Took the Words Right Out of My Mouth', 'Two Out of Three Ain't Bad' and Paradise by the Dashboard Light.
In addition to writing all the hits for Meat Loaf, Jim Steinman went on to write and produce hits for artists such as Bonnie Tyler, Celine Dion, Air Supply as well as collaborations with Sir Andrew Loyd Webber.
Established in 1997 in Melbourne Australia, Neil Anthony's tribute to Meat Loaf is the longest running professional tribute to the music of Meat Loaf and Jim Steinman in the world.
