Scenes of Nature

Join renowned Australian soprano Shelli Hulcombe, alongside Jolanta Kudra (soprano), Camilo Lopez (baritone), and Francis Atkins (piano), as they explore song cycles with unique musical interpretations of mother nature.

This performance will feature Strauss’ Mädchenblumen, Ravel’s Histoires Naturelles, and Australian composer Betty Beath’s In This Garden, each of which paints scenes of fauna and flora. Also on the programme are popular songs by Chausson, Debussy, and Mahler.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to hear some of Australia’s finest emerging and established classical voices perform in the iconic architecture of Queensland’s Old Museum Building.

Duration approximately 70 minutes.
